Covid-19 - Entering Spain

The days of tedious Covid-19 travel restrictions and the nervousness of having to test negative and prove it, sometimes within 24 hours of your flight are seemingly coming to an end. Britain's most popular holiday destination - Spain - now has no Covid-19 restrictions at all. So whether it's a city break to Madrid or a beach holiday to the Costa del Sol, travelling to Spain can at least come with the peace of mind of no Covid restrictions.

Since October 21st 2022, all Covid-19 restrictions on entering the country have been lifted. It is business as usual! This means that there is no need to take a pre-departure test, no need to prove your vaccination status and no need to fill out locator forms. This applies to all borders of Spain, whether you are travelling by plane, boat or car across the land border. If you are travelling from Britain to Spain, via car, the French requirements are different. I will be updating the blog later this week on French entry and thus transit to Spain and other European countries.

For all Spanish entry requirements see: https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/spain/entry-requirements
